The Maryland Health Benefit Exchange understands the importance of insurance brokers to the general public, and as a result, created the Broker Authorization Program.

- Help create an account at the www.marylandhealthconnection.gov
- Determine eligibility for subsidies (help covering premiums and other out-of-pocket costs)
- Review insurance plan options
- Highlight how to make the most of your plan as well as avoid unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses
- Explain important details of your subsidy and your responsibilities to report changes timely
